My Favorite Skeletons!

Daddy and Dylan donned matching skeleton costumes while handing out candy. Dylan had a blast! He said "Hieee" to everyone who knocked on our door and handed out generous handfuls of candy before saying "Bu-bye". Mommy showed Dylan the pumpkin which is right where the new baby lives, but, alas, Dylan was more interested in the real pumpkins.

I'm picking out a pumpkin for you...

no ordinary pumpkin will do. We brought home the biggest pumpkin Dylan could carry and one that weighed just the same as him. On to the carving...

Mountain Sun

On our last day, we visited one of our favorite places on Pearl Street, Mountain Sun, for a good last meal. Here we discovered how peaceful dining can be as Dylan discovered the joys of adding dominoes to a cup and dumping them out -- again, again, and again.

A Park to Remember

What a park! A great big grassy knoll (to walk up and down and up and down) and SWINGS! What more could a boy want?!

High 5's All Around

Dylan hands out the high 5's in celebration of Uncle Zach and Aunt Alissa's wedding - here Pop Pop Dennis is the lucky recipient with Aunt Charlotte in the background, also pictured here up close with Uncle Jake (Josh's brother).

Happily Married

A Beautiful Wedding

This incredible afternoon at Red Rocks came courtesy of Uncle Zach and Aunt Alissa's wedding. From left to right in relation to Dylan -- Aunt Lindsay (on the edge), Daddy, Mommy, Aunt Laura, Uncle Hugh, (the unmistakably beautiful bride) Aunt Alissa, (the dashing groom) Uncle Zach, Granddaddy and KK.

On the rocks

The rocks at the park of Chatauqua are just the right size for Dylan to conquer.

Pop goes the fountain

Dylan is visiting Colorado for the first time and got his first look at the pop fountains on Pearl Street -- what a way to start a vacation!

He also has in hand his very first flute which he is playing beautifully (at least according to mom and dad). His harmonica broke in transit to Colorado, will have to buy him a new one as he loves to play his harmonica (oh, and he also plays a mean kazoo).

A Mover and a Shaker

Josh was home from the UAE for this ultrasound and baby girl did not disappoint -- she was on the move, kicking and turning and kicking and turning. Pictures were hard to come by with the speed she was moving, but we managed a few to share -- enjoy!

Oh yes, and more thumb sucking. If this is a sign of the times then we are in for learning some new parenting skills since Dylan never sucked his thumb, never took a pacifier, and never took a bottle.

And, these are the feet that are very hard work at work kicking me from the inside out -- maybe she is trying to play with Dylan who is fascinated by my growing belly even though he has no idea why it is growing so large.
