Is she really sucking her thumb?

If you look closely at the first ultrasound picture, she does appear to sucking her thumb. I did some research and found this is quite common to see in an ultrasound as a very natural and early instinct of babies to soothe themselves.

Help is on the way!

Since Daddy spent the month of August in Abu Dhabi, Grandma Debi and Aunt Lindsay carved some time from their busy schedules to bring Mommy and me good company and much needed help around the house. Lindsay helped select picture frames for the family picture wall (pictures to come soon) and Grandma Debi cleaned our carpets (I know we still can't believe it!) so we could have a nice clean place to roll around and play. THANK YOU!
Meanwhile, I have learned the red button on the keys sounds the car alarm, fun for all including the neighbors.

Let the names begin!

We are so very excited to add a baby girl to the family. This post is coming rather late (backdated) -- we have some newer pictures to post including 3D, soon... Until then, we have been receiving a lot of name suggestions from family, if you want to throw yours in the ring, there's plenty of time, we are not due until March 7.

Moms-to-be

Dylan had lunch today with his lovely friends Dale and Cate who are both pregnant -- Cate is due very shortly in September and Dale in December.
