The Best Birthday Yet

Dylan turns 1.

The balloons were a big hit (and sometimes pop) to get the party started.



Mommy makes the cake! Mommy made a duck-shaped cake with homemade lemon cake and lemon icing. Dylan loves lemons and ducks!




Getting ready for the birthday song. Dylan's family and friends sang a wonderful chorus of Happy Birthday -- Dylan loved it! Right in the middle he started clapping (his newest skill) and the crowd clapped too.



Daddy asked Dylan what he wished for without hesitation he said, "duck." His wish came true in the next bite.
