and now they have conversations

i remember their first words, their first sentences, the first time dylan called me mom... and now their first conversation...

it was about a month ago... keelyn had come in our room first (sometime before 6) and dylan climbed in shortly after... keelyn, who is always excited to see her brother, sat up straight and belted out, "dyylllllaaaaannnnn". her enthusiasm was met with a grumpy reply from her brother, "keelyn, i'm not talking you right now, alright?" keelyn asked, "whhhhhyyyyyy?" in an incredulous tone. dylan replied, "because i'm tired, ok keelyn?" keelyn said, "ok" and laid down, but quickly popped backed up and said, "i'm tired too, dylan".

i love those kids.
