A Wedding and Honeymoon of a Lifetime
Our wedding was small so there was little need for a wedding rehearsal and therefore little need for a true rehearsal dinner, though with Josh's family in town from all over, Bernie (Josh's dad) treated us to dinner at McCormick and Schmick. Earlier that day, Josh and his family visited Great Falls, Virginia while Debra and Linda did some last minute shopping.
Our ceremony was lovely. Our officiant had prepared a ceremony which we customized (with her permission) and we wrote our own vows. See our ceremony photos.
And, view the location of our wedding (L'auberge Provencale) in White Post, Virginia as well as before and after photos with our family:

Celeste Borel, the innkeeper (and wedding planner) was truly wonderful, she helped plan every detail of the ceremony and reception. Her husband Alain Borel prepared the food and they have a pastry chef who made an amazing cake. The ultimate in one-stop shopping! Scenes from the reception:

On our wedding night, we stayed in their property, the Villa La Campagnette. The next morning, we started our first day of marriage on a hot air balloon ride given to us by Debra's parents, her brother, and his wife. See the incredible balloon photos as well as an overhead view of the Villa when we flew over.Later that day, we joined our friends and family for a picnic.
And, the best for last, we spent our honeymoon in the Virgin Islands -- three days on St. Thomas and seven on St. John. These honeymoon photos are a must see.
